Interview with Mrs. Danielle

We all know Mrs. Danielle, our kitchen manager. But you may not know a lot about her. So, I am going to interview her and find out more.
Q. How long have you been working at Coe?
A. This is my fifth year at Coe.
Q. Have you worked anywhere else before Coe? If so, where and how long?
A. I worked all the meal programs during covid, and I also worked at Seattle country day school, as their lunch lady for four years.
Q. What is your day like working in the lunchroom?
A. Lots of chaos, lots of cooking.
Q. How do you choose a menu?
A. I try to make sure there are lots of cold choices to choose from, but the district chooses the hot choices.
Q. What is your favorite dish that you like to make for kids?
A. I like making Teriyaki chicken with rice because it's easy to make and kids like it.
Q. What is your favorite food?
A. The Chicken pot pie I made last night would be my favorite food.
Q. Do you have any pets or kids?
A. I have five turtles and three dogs. I also have two kids. One was here last year and the other is a senior in high school.
