Wardell Stephen Curry, known as Steph, was born on March 14, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. He went to Davidson college in North Carolina where he studied Sociology. He played basketball in college, but left school early to enter the 2009 NBA draft in his senior year. In his final year playing for Davidson, he averaged 28.6 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.5 steals. In 2022, he took more classes and earned his college degree. After graduating he was inducted into the Davidson Hall of Fame. He was very successful in his college basketball career and even more in the NBA. He plays point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He has won four NBA championships. He was chosen as the most valuable player (MVP) in the NBA two times, an NBA finals MVP and two-time NBA All-Star game MVP. He is also a two-time NBA scoring champion and an eleven-time All-Star.
