Gary Charles Gait is considered one of the best lacrosse players of all time, a GOAT. Gary Gait was born on April 5, 1967. Gary went to Sainte Claire middle school in British Columbia, Canada. After that he went to Syracuse University and played lacrosse in college with his twin brother Paul. He attended college from 1987 to 1990. He broke many records and won three NCAA championships. He was named player of the year two times. Some of his other accomplishments are being in the National Lacrosse Hall of fame, and having his jersey retired by Syracuse. He is also in the NLL (National Lacrosse League) hall of fame. He led the NLL in points and goals on multiple occasions. Gary had the highest goals per game average in NLL history. Gary was named MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the league in the NLL and the MLL (Major Lacrosse League). Gary now coaches the Syracuse men's lacrosse team.
