DK Metcalf

Teddy G.

DeKaylin (DK) Zecharius Metcalf was born in Oxford, Mississippi on December 14, 1997. Football was a popular sport in his family because his dad and uncle played in the NFL. DK played wide receiver on the football team at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss. He could only play 2 seasons in college because he injured his neck badly. He was selected by the Seahawks as the 64th NFL draft pick in 2019. He scored his first professional touchdown in the 2nd  week of the regular season. DK wears the number 14 in honor of his birthday. DK supports deaf people by giving money to SOUND Behavioral Health’s Deaf Services Program. He wanted to give to deaf people after learning American sign language in college.
