Puyallup Fair: The Fun Of A Lifetime
Soren B.

Why you should go
If it isn’t already obvious, you should go for fun! From Queen Anne it takes about an hour, but it is 100% worth it. There are so many rides and treats it's impossible not to have fun.
2. Rides you should do
Most of the fun houses were not fun, all except one. For some strange reason the Mardi gras themed fun house took the lead by starting with a maze of mirrors and ending with a slide.
Definitely go on the Ferris wheel or the giant swings. You should go on them to scout out cool rides to go on. If there is a ride you don't want to go on, then watch someone else do it then decide.
3. Foods you should eat
Fried Oreos you get about six and every last finger licking bite is so good.
My mom loved the “pickle drink,” but I’m not sure. It’s soda with pickle juice and comes with pickle chips on top! Hmm I think it would be bad, but I don't want to yuck her yum.
If you don't know, one thing you must get is scones. For these you must go early. I will tell you more about when to get them and other stuff in the pro tips section.
What’s better? A stupid handful of fries or a huge brick of fries? Did I mention the fries are curly?
4. Pro tips
My first and most important pro tip is to get the dizzy pass and if you are the adventurous type, then you should get in early and out late. You could also buy tickets instead.
Speaking of getting there early, even if you aren’t the adventurous type still get there early for the amazing scones.
Go to the animals early, you don't want to miss them. There are a lot of them, but the piglets are in the top 3. Then after either do rides or watch the amazing shows. My favorite show was Roberto the magnificent.
Before finishing this article, I wanted to add something about shopping. If you are buying toys or souvenirs, then buy it in the end you don't want to carry it around all day.
